Rocky Reid called himself a bully toward Anthony Robinson

In a TV Guide exit interview published 5 April 2007, Rocky Reid said he came across "like a mean, horrible bully when it came to Anthony." The two shared the Ravu tribe on Survivor: Fiji, and Anthony Robinson was the sixth castaway voted out, on day 16.

Confirmed The strongest evidence here is Reid's own account, given to TV Guide days after his elimination aired. There was no proceeding of any kind, and the racial framing that attaches to this feud in later retellings is not supported by anything located for this page.

What Reid said about his own behaviour

The clearest evidence on this page comes from Reid. In an exit interview TV Guide published on 5 April 2007, days after his elimination aired, he addressed how he had come off on television and said he looked "like a mean, horrible bully when it came to Anthony." He put it down to frustration that had built up over roughly two weeks living alongside Robinson.

That is an unusual thing for a Survivor exit interview to contain. Most of them argue with the edit. This one accepts the characterisation and offers a reason for it, which is why the quote has outlasted almost everything else written about the season's Ravu camp.

What happened on the season

Reid and Robinson were both on Ravu, the tribe that spent the early weeks of Survivor: Fiji short of supplies under the season's haves and have-nots split. Their friction ran through several episodes and did not resolve.

Robinson was voted out sixth, on day 16, the last elimination before the jury started. Reid lasted three more days and was voted out seventh, on day 19, which made him Fiji's first juror. Neither man has played again.

The racial framing is not supported by anything found here

This feud gets retold in places as a racial one. Nothing located for this page supports that. There is no contemporaneous report describing it in those terms, no statement from Reid framing it that way, and no statement from Robinson framing it that way either.

The distinction matters because the two versions carry very different weight. Reid conceding that he acted like a bully toward one castaway is on the record in his own words. An accusation of racial abuse is a separate and far heavier claim, and this site does not make it.

What is missing

Robinson's own account is the biggest gap. A Rob Has a Website interview page exists, but the page carries only a brief summary of the feud and no transcript, so nothing he has said about Reid could be quoted or checked. Where he agrees with Reid's characterisation, disputes it, or has moved on is simply not established here.

The other gap is institutional. No CBS statement, sanction or penalty has been located, and there was no legal or disciplinary proceeding.
