  1. Russell Hantz

    Survivor 19, 20, 22 Australian Survivor: Champions v Contenders (2018)

    23rd place. The first player from his tribe and the 2nd out overall: the Australians knew exactly who he was and removed him immediately.

  2. Sandra Diaz-Twine

    Survivor 7, 20, 34, 40 Australian Survivor: Blood V Water (2022)

    19th place. Played alongside her daughter Nina and was voted out after a tribe swap on day 16, ending the two-time winner's run without a third final Tribal Council.

Scope: standalone Australian Survivor seasons that cast a US Survivor player as an individual competitor, as distinct from the 2025 nation-versus-nation season Australia V The World, which has its own page. Russell Hantz (Samoa, Heroes vs. Villains, Redemption Island) played Champions v Contenders in 2018 and went out 2nd overall. Sandra Diaz-Twine (Pearl Islands, Heroes vs. Villains, Game Changers, Winners at War) played Blood V Water in 2022 with her daughter Nina and was voted out on day 16; her non-playing mentor role on Island of the Idols is excluded here as it was not a competing appearance. Australia is the only international franchise that has cast US Survivor players as competitors. Rupert Boneham appeared on the Israeli edition in September 2009, but as the prize in a reward challenge rather than as a player: the winning tribe won fishing gear and three days of Rupert.
