Monét X Change and Survivor

Monét X Change is one of eight creators who played 36 Hour Survivor: Influencer Experience, a 36-hour game filmed in Fiji in April 2025 on the same beaches as the CBS show and released on Survivor's YouTube channel on September 18, 2025. She was still in the game when the clock ran out. Away from Survivor she shared the RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 4 crown with Trinity the Tuck in 2019, and she has said she would submit an audition tape for a real season.

Who she is

Monét X Change placed sixth on RuPaul's Drag Race season 10 in 2018 and was voted Miss Congeniality by her fellow contestants. That December she returned for All Stars season 4, and in the February 15, 2019 finale she and Trinity the Tuck were both crowned, the only two-winner finale in the show's history.

Since then she has worked as much behind a microphone as in competition. She has hosted The Pit Stop, the official Drag Race recap show, and she co-hosts the Sibling Rivalry podcast with Bob the Drag Queen.

What she actually did in Fiji

Eight creators flew to Fiji in April 2025 and played on Survivor's own beaches as a single tribe, Bula, with a real camp, a hidden immunity idol, an immunity challenge and one Tribal Council, all compressed into 36 hours. Coverage of the shoot describes an overnight storm that hit the camp.

Monét's contribution was the shelter. "Girl, I got the shelter together. Okay? I was that girl," she said afterwards, and her account of the night is the part that sounds least like a promo: "It was cold. It was raining. I was literally sleeping on hard bamboo and just rain pouring on me all night." On Instagram she wrote that she "survived 36 Hours in Fiji and won a sickening supply of no food, bug bites, and questionable shelter."

She was never voted out

The format had room for exactly one elimination. Hannah Kosh went home in a blindside organised by Karl Jacobs, who also played the hidden immunity idol on Phaith Montoya, which left seven players standing when the clock ran out. There was no jury, no final Tribal Council and no Sole Survivor, so Monét finished the game the same way she started it, with a lit torch.

Her read on why is characteristically blunt: "No one wanted to send me home because I was so loveable and sweet." It is a joke, but in a 36-hour game the only vote went to the players who were visibly strategising, and she was not one of them.

She wants a real season

Asked directly whether she would play the actual show, Monét said she would, and gave a reason that had nothing to do with the money: "I think I would do it just to prove to myself that I could do it." She said she planned to submit a tape for season 51 or 52, and put her own ceiling high: "I think I would do very well. If not win, definitely top two, for sure."

She is not a castaway. She has never played a numbered CBS season, she has no placement, and she does not appear in any Survivor record or statistic on this site. What she has is 36 hours of the real thing on the real beaches.

Survivor players she has competed against

Not on Survivor. Monét played The Traitors season 4, filmed at Ardross Castle in Scotland and released on Peacock in early 2026, and three of the twenty-three players in that cast were Survivor castaways. All three were Faithfuls, and none of them reached the finale.
