The third season of the American reality series features sixteen castaways divided into the Boran and Samburu tribes, facing extreme desert conditions and dangerous wildlife in Kenya's Shaba National Reserve.

Day one split the cast into two tribes: Boran and Samburu. Everyone here was new to the game, and three of them would go on to play again.
