The seventh season of the American series, set in Panama, features a pirate theme and begins with a surprise marooning where sixteen contestants must barter for supplies in a local village using only the clothes on their backs.

Day one split the cast into two tribes: Drake and Morgan. Everyone here was new to the game, and four of them would go on to play again.
