Survivor: Panama features sixteen castaways initially divided into four tribes based on age and gender who must navigate the introduction of Exile Island and a powerful hidden immunity idol.

Day one split the cast into four tribes: Viveros, Bayoneta, La Mina, and Casaya. Everyone here was new to the game, and four of them would go on to play again.
