Survivor: Cook Islands is the thirteenth season of the series, notably featuring twenty contestants initially divided into four tribes based on their ethnicity and introducing the first-ever final tribal council with three finalists.

Day one split the cast into four tribes: Puka Puka, Aitutaki, Manihiki, and Rarotonga. Everyone here was new to the game, and five of them would go on to play again.
